She married Clifford Stueve (Swede) October 7, 1939 in Onawa, Iowa, and to this union seven children were born, Mary, Betty, Denis, Pat, Lyle, Randy and Julie. Stueve age 89, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away on December 27, 2011 at Community Memorial Hospital. Eunice was born April 21, 1922 to Major and Grace (Johnson) Adams in Haigler, Nebraska. Eunice graduated from High School in 1939 in Missouri Valley, Iowa. She married Clifford Stueve (Swede) October 7, 1939 in Onawa, Iowa, and to this union seven children were born, Mary, Betty, Denis, Pat, Lyle, Randy and Julie. Eunice and Clifford (Swede) were married 65 years and farmed for many years in Harrison county and Northern Iowa. Eunice worked for Community Memorial Hospital for 22 years as a nurse aide, O.B. Tech and ward clerk. She also has done Home Health Care until she retired due to health problems. Eunice was baptized July 8, 1954 in Ruthvern, Iowa at In Our Savior Church she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley. Eunice loved all kinds of music and sewing. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Scott and husband Carl of Modale, Iowa, Betty Totten and husband Clifford, Pat Mickey, Julie Brown and husband Daniel all of Missouri Valley, Iowa, sons; Denis and wife Janice of Modale, Iowa and Randy Stueve of Missouri Valley, Iowa, sister, Maxine Osburn of Blair, Nebraska, daughter-in-law Linda Stueve of Missouri Valley, Iowa, twenty-four grandchildren forty-one great grandchildren nineteen great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends, She loved everyone. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband Clifford (Swede), parents Major and Grace Adams, son; Lyle Paul Stueve, grandsons Kevin and Richard Totten, granddaughter Annette Beebe, brothers; Don, Harold, Charley and Wilbur Adams and sisters; Shirley Miriman, Elizabeth Ann Adams, Inez Layton and Beulah Coats. Visitation will be held from 6:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday with prayer service at 7:00 at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. The family would like to invite everyone to a time of lunch and fellowship at Community of Christ Church at 2102 Liberty Avenue in Missouri Valley following the committal service.
