Obituary From "The "Ottumwa Courier," November 30, 1946: Life-Long Resident of County Is Called Mrs. Filana Giltner, 86, wife of the late Frank Giltner, died at 8 AM Sunday at her home east of the Dahlonega. A lifelong resident Wapello County, she was born May 12, 1860, the daughter of William and Matilda Dimmitt. She is survived by one son, C. D. Giltner; a brother, Fred Dimmitt of Ottumwa, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Long of Dahlonega. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Tuesday at the Lester Jay funeral home in charge of the Rev. C. R. Reed, pastor of The Willard St., Methodist Church. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery.
