Description	:	Florence was born about four miles south of Florence, Marion Co., Kansas, the fourth of eight children. In January 1904, her parents decided to return to Ohio due to the poor health of her mother. The family settled north of Hunt's Corners. Florence attended the township rural schools and graduated from Bellevue High School in 1919. On September 5, 1923, Florence married Ralph Everett Plue, born September 29, 1900. He was from Norwalk, Huron Co., Ohio. They had one son, born in 1928. Florence and Ralph divorced in 1932. Florence and her son moved to Detroit, Michigan and lived with her parents.... He was from Norwalk, Huron Co., Ohio. They had one son, born in 1928. Florence and Ralph divorced in 1932. Florence and her son moved to Detroit, Michigan and lived with her parents. She became a member of the United Auto Workers and retired from General Motors after 30 years in 1964. She also co-owned an apartment building in Detroit with her brother, Milton. In 1975, Florence, Milton and a second brother, Harvey, moved to Milford, Michigan where they shared a home. Florence would live there until 1991.
