Description	:	Atchison Daily Patriot, Thursday, 16 December 1880 We are in recept of the sad intelligence of the death of Mrs. Fanny Toliaferro Brown, wife of Alex Brown, near Effingham, at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She was well known in Atchison, and her untimely death will be regretted by all. Of a most amiable disposition, a true woman and an estimable wife, her friends were legion, who will unite with her husband and family in sincerely mourning her loss. Read More	Atchison Daily Patriot, Thursday, 16 December 1880 We are in recept of the sad intelligence of the death of Mrs. Fanny Toliaferro Brown, wife of Alex Brown, near Effingham, at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She was well known in Atchison, and her untimely death will be regretted by all. Of a most amiable disposition, a true woman and an estimable wife, her friends were legion, who will unite with her husband and family in sincerely mourning her loss. Mrs. Brown was the daughter of Col. R. H. Taliaferro and grand daughter of Col. E. R. Brown. Mrs. Brown was in her twenty third year. She leaves a husband and two little children, a girl two years old and an infant boy, about one week old. The body was brought from the country residence this afternoon and will be kept at the residence of Mr. J. P. Brown until tomorrow morning. The funeral services will be held at the Episcopal church Friday morning at 11 o'clock, funeral sermon by Rev. Osborne. The interment will take place at Oak Hill cemetery. Friends of the family are invited to be present.
