Description	:	OBITUARY Francis Marion Martin was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana September 25, 1833 and died at his home near Center Point, June 1, 1906, aged 72 years, 8 months and 6 days. He was united in marriage to Sarah Wisehart February 18, 1858. He leaves a wife and five daughters to mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband and father. Read More	OBITUARY Francis Marion Martin was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana September 25, 1833 and died at his home near Center Point, June 1, 1906, aged 72 years, 8 months and 6 days. He was united in marriage to Sarah Wisehart February 18, 1858. He leaves a wife and five daughters to mourn the loss of a kind and loving husband and father. Three daughters preceded him to the other world. The funeral service was held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Baptist meeting house at Greens Grove. It was conducted by the Masonic fraternity of Center Point, of which the deceased had been a member for 22 years. A large number of Masonic brethren from Walker, Urbana, Toddville and Cedar Rapids were present. The funeral was one of the largest ever held in Linn county, showing the esteem in which the deceased was held. The funeral address was delivered by Elder Sarchett and is spoken of as being a very feeling and appropriate address. The immediate members of the family in attendance at the funeral were Mrs. Anna Cheadle, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mentzer and Mrs. Addie Arnold, all of Cedar Rapids ad Mrs. Willard Neighbor and Mrs. Harry Burton of Center Point.
