Frank came in from the fields one day to find his wife Amelia bleeding, and the children standing by her. She cut her arm when she was peeling potatoes. Frank would not take her to the doctor. He left to go back to the fields. Amelia died with her children watching. * Not certain of year of birth as headstone shows 1886. Believe it was either 1868 (with year on headstone backwards) or 1876.*
