Death of George Beyreis After an illness of several months, George Beyreis passed away at his home about two miles north of DuBois Tuesday afternoon at 5 o'clock. While it was known that he had for the past few days been critically ill, the news of his death came as a shock to his many friends here. Mr. Beyreis came with his parents to Seneca, Kansas, about sixty years ago, and with the exception of a few years spent near Emporia, Kansas has been a resident of this community since that time. He was a good man, a kind and loving father, a splendid neighbor and a loyal friend. Funeral services will be held at the late home tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 1:30 and at the Evangelical church south of DuBois at 2 o'clock.- The DuBois Press- April 28th.
