He had been a carman with the New York Central System 42 years and was a member of Local 53, Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen. Surviving are his daughters, Mrs. Frieda O'Rourke, Lincoln Park, Michigan; Mrs. Pauline Bacon, Ida, Michigan; son, Fay E., Monroe, Michigan; sister, Mrs. Jennie Snyder, Trilby, Ohio; and Louis, Toledo, Ohio and eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
