Mr. Pratt was one of our most highly respected citizens and his death is a source of regret to the entire community. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Dr. Fellows of the M.E. church, and interment was in Glasco cemetery. George Lewis Pratt began his earthly life in Fayette county, Pa., on the 16th of May, 1868, and ended it in Glasco, Kansas, November 28, 1919 at 10 o'clock p.m., at the age of 51 years, 6 months, and 12 days. In March, 1886, he came to Cloud county, where he has since resided. On the fifth of April, in 1894, in Glasco, he was joined in marriage with Georgia B. Thompson. To bless this union two children came --- Vivian Marie and Marion C. Pratt, both of whom are living and had the pleasure of bestowing kindly ministries upon the father in his days of illness. Other immediate living relatives are three sisters and five brothers. The wife and mother died August 30, 1901. Mr. Pratt was a member of ?(unreadable) and M.W.A. lodges. Five years ago he was stricken with paralysis, since which time he has been an invalid, then came a second stroke; then on Friday the third and final one.
