He was married to Lulu Hart Jan. 15, 1919. Couple made their home on a farm in the Anamosa vicinity befor moving to Anamosa in 1950. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church. Survivors Listed Survivors include his wife, Lulu; one daughter, Evelyn, Mrs. James Kraus, Jr., and one son, Gary, Anamosa; two brothers, John, Anamosa, and Henry, Olin; and six grandchildren. Others include seven sisters, Mrs. Louise Gerdes, Manchester; Mrs. Alma Siebels, Reseda, Calif.; Helen, Mrs. Garrett Siebels, Anamosa; Hanna, Mrs. Ed Carlson, Marion; Clara, Mrs. Bernell Schwirtz, Martelle; Mrs. Grace Woodworth, Bozeman, Mont.; and Lydia, Mrs. Ernest Goldsmith, Anamosa. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
