Description	:	Obituary of Harry J. Jensen Harry J. Jensen was born seven miles south and five miles east of Minden on Nov. 12, 1886, to Mr. and Mrs. Jens C. Jensen. He was baptised into the Christian faith at Fredericksburg Jan. 7, 1889, and confirmed into this faith May 4, 1903. He remained a member of Fredericksburg Lutheran Church until his death. Read More	Obituary of Harry J. Jensen Harry J. Jensen was born seven miles south and five miles east of Minden on Nov. 12, 1886, to Mr. and Mrs. Jens C. Jensen. He was baptised into the Christian faith at Fredericksburg Jan. 7, 1889, and confirmed into this faith May 4, 1903. He remained a member of Fredericksburg Lutheran Church until his death. On March 1, 1911, he was united in marriage to Ida Matilda Warp and to this union four children were born. He was preceded in death by his wife, brothers, Jens, Carl, and John and sisters, Emma, Stena, Minnie, Nora and Martha. He farmed all of his life until retirement in 1953. He married Clara Rasmussen Peterson on December 7, 1958. He passed away Monday, Jan. 13, at the county hospital at the age of 75 years, two months and one day. Surviving him are his wife, two sons, Wesley, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Harold, Minden, two daughters, Lois Nelson, Minden, and Ardyce Rasmussen, Long Beach, Calif., two brothers, William Houmark, Columbus, and Thorvald Jensen, Minden, two sisters, Matilda Johnson, Minden, and Agnes Wilson, La Habra, Calif., three step-sons, 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and a host of friends. He will be remembered for his willingness to help others, his musical ability and his keen sense of humor. Funeral services were held at the Fredericksburg Lutheran Church Jan. 16, with Rev. Vernon Flesner officiating. Interment was in the Fredericksburg Cemetery.
