Description	:	H. Lee Jordan, 77, retired Pine Creek rancher, died Saturday night in Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Franzen Chapel. Military honors will be accorded at the graveside in Shorthill Cemetery by Park Post 23, American Legion. Mr. Jordan was born Aug. 7, 1886 in West Lima, Wis. son of Isaac Leroy and Louisa Lavina(Jones)Jordan. He moved with his parents to Ladysmith, Wis., where he received his education. In 1913 he came to Livingston and had resided in this area since. During World War I he served in the U. S. Army with the 32nd Division in France and Germany. He married Ruby M. Forney in the Forney home on Pine Creek March 24, 1920. Mr. Jordan ranched in the Pine Creek area until retiring in 1961. He was preceded in death by five brothers, two sisters and a son. Surviving are his wife Ruby, four daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Mona) Burtch and JoAnn Pulver of Livingston, Mrs. Aub (Marge) Bruning of Great Falls and Mrs. Emmett (Eileen) Colley of Bridger; two sons, Russell of Livingston and Larry of Pine Creek; a sister, Mrs. Grace Kuettel of Ladysmith, Wis.; 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. --Livingston Enterprise, July 18, 1966-- ------------------------------- Funeral services for H. Lee Jordan, 77, retired Pine Creek rancher, were conducted this afternoon in the Franzen Chapel. Conducting the service were the Rev. Edwin Dover and Foster Smith of Pine Creek Methodist Church. Music was provided by Margaret Heinrich, Mrs. Carrie Dover and Marion Melin. Military honors were accorded at the graveside in Shorthill Cemetery by members of Park Post 23, American Legion. Legionnaires participating included Ed Orleman, Captain; Al Hegstad, Lloyd Sommerlad, Frank Adams and Sam Warren, colors and color guard; John Bauman, Russell Galloway, Gene Knoke, Roy Sommerlad, Jack Lentfer and Harry E. Johnson, firing squad. Gary Youdan served as bugler. Pallbearers were William Nelson, Ray Shorthill, Edwin Bowles, Luther Todd, John Tecca and Chester Allen. Honorary pallbearers were Arthur Smith, Raymond George, Warren Bowles, Jack Ryall, Gene Carter, Otto Melin, Eric Lindberg, Bertich Kerlin, Joe Adams and Robert Colley. Mr. Jordan died Saturday night in Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Livingston Enterprise, July 19, 1966.
