She... Read More	Daughter of Reuben Bunn and Mary Ellen (Fleischman) Forney. RUBY M. JORDAN Ruby M. Jordan, 90, a resident of the Livingston Convalescent Ceneter and lifelong Park County resident, died Sunday morning at the center following a long illness. She was born April 5, 1896, at the Kaufman Ranch on Elbow Creek in the Paradise Valley south of Livingston. When she was 2 years old, she moved with her family to the family ranch on Barney Creek. She attended the Rosedale School and helped for a time on the family ranch. On March 24, 1920, she married Harrison Lee Jordan in the Froney home on Barney Creek. From 1931 to 1936 they owned and operated a dairy farm in Townsend. However, they ranched in the Paradise Valley most of their married life. her husband died in July, 1911, and she contined to live at the ranch until moving into Livingston in 1968. She entered the Livingston Convalescent Center in November of 1969 and has resided there since. She was a memer of Pine Creek United Mthodist Church; the United Methodist Women; the Park County Pioneer Society; the Star of Hope Ladies Aid Society and for many years was a news correspondent for the Park County News in the Pine Creek area. She had also been very active as a 40H leader and greatly enjoyed her family and her church activities. Survivors include two sons, Russell Jordan of Burlington, Iowa, and Larry Jordan, of Livingston; three daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Mona) Burtch and Mrs. Eugene (JoAnn) Piazzola, both of livingston, and Mrs. Emmett (Eileen) Colley of Helena; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Franzen-Davis-BeBee Chapel with the Rev. Tom Boller of Pine Creek United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Shorthill Cemetery. LIVINGSTON ENTERPRISE, Monday, February 20, 1989 Funeral services for Ruby Mae Jordan, 90, were held Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Franzen-Davis-Bebee Chapel with the Rev. Tom Boller of Pine Creek United Methodist Church officiating. Must was provided by recorded selections of Merrill Womach. Casket bearers were Robert Burtch, Gary Colley, Roger Jordan, Bill Burtch, Jim Colley, Mark Pulver, Brian Pulver, Rick Jordan, Travis Jordan, Eugene Piazzola Jr. and Peter Lannan-Jordan. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jordan was also preceded in death by a son Robert at birth and a daughter Marge Bruning in 1979. Interment was in Shorthill Cemetery.
