Poss, a member of the firm of Jacob Poss & Son of this place and Miss Maude M. Trimble of Mount Savage, Maryland, were married in Baltimore on Wednesday. Miss Trimble had been staying in Rockville for the past year or more and a few days ago, left for Baltimore for a supposed visit. Mr. Poss followed and the ceremony took place, as stated. Henry G. Poss was born near Bethesda, but lived in Rockville most of his life. He conducted a livery and sales stable with his father, Jacob Poss. He was a member of the Holy Names Society of St. Mary's Church. He died at age 72 on Tuesday, June 15, 1943 after a long illness in a Washington hospital. Survivors included his widow, Clara B. Poss; one daughter by a prior marriage, Mrs. Norman [Nellie] Daly of the District of Columbia; one grandson, Harry Daly of the District, one sister, Mrs. Ethel Carr of Rockville and one brother, Clyde Poss of the District. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockville with the Rev. Thomas J. McKew officiating. Interment was at St. Mary's Cemetery.
