Wedding announcement (Hunterdon County Democrat, April 13, 1944)- Miss Hazel M. Piell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell F. Piell of Pittstown, and Leighton D. Niece, son of Dory Niece, also of Pittstown, were united in marriage Saturday afternoon, April 8, 1944, at 8 o'clock in the home of the bride. The ceremony was performedby the Rev. Donald Fletcher of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, Grandin. The bride wore a street-length dress of blue crepe with a corsage of pink sweet peas. Attendants were Miss Luella Piell and Floyd Dipple. The maid of honor was dressed in blue poplin and wore a corsage of pink sweet peas. The music for the ceremony was played by Mrs. Fletcher. The bride attended Flemington High School and is employed at the Porcelain plant in Frenchtown. Mr. Piell attended Frenchtown High School and is a farmer. The couple will reside at Pittstown.
