Helen May Kiger was born May 5, 1896, at Pella, Iowa, the daughter of Charles E. and Amelia Gaass Buerkens. She was married to Nobe I. Kiger on Jan. 26, 1928 at Fort Madison. A resident of Fairfield since 1916, Mrs. Kiger was a member of the Second Reform Church at Pella. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Carl Bonnett, Birmingham, and Mrs. Frank Lane, Stockport; and seven brothers, John, Anaheim, Calif.' Barney, Fairfield; Charles, Berkeley, Calif.; Lee, Rockford, Ill.; Max, Fairfield; Gene, Dallas City, Ill.; and Bob Richmond, Calif. Four nephews and three nieces also survive.
