He was born April 18, 1930 in Surry County to the late Henry Howard Ferguson Sr. & Lelia White Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson retired from Armtex as a machinist. He was born April 18, 1930 in Surry County to the late Henry Howard Ferguson Sr. & Lelia White Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson retired from Armtex as a machinist. He is survived by his wife, Betty Medley Ferguson, of the home; daughters & sons-in-law: Janice Ferguson Alfing (Ed) of Yadkinville, NC, Linda Ferguson Johnson of King, NC and Sharon Ferguson Hutchens (James) of Axton, VA; son, Kym Henry Ferguson, of the home; grandchildren: Tracy Morgan (Jeff) of Bradenton, FL, Tiffany Alary (Simon) of King, NC, Derek Hutchens (Natasha) of Clayton, NC, Jamie Hutchens (Wendy) of Archdale, NC, Tasha Parrish (Shane) of King, NC, Joshua Hutchens (Kara) of Arkansas and Jordan Johnson of King, NC; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Ann Collins, of NC and several nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ferguson was preceded in death by son-in-law, Joe Johnson; sisters: Edith Farmer, Dot Lowe, Hazel Johnson, Mildred Stevens, Audraley Boyd, Jean Sutphin & Ruth Hanes; and brother, Donald Ferguson. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Eugene Brinkley with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
