Description	:	Irene C. Mogensen, 90, of Brewster, died Sunday, September 19, 1993 in the Harmony House convalescent Center at Brewster. Mrs. Mogensen was born October 7, 1902 the daughter of Roy W. and Ethel (Hubbell) Caldwell at Piqua, Ohio. She moved to Cashmere, WA and was married to Harry W. Hamilton in 1922. Mrs. Mogensen moved to Omak with her family where she was employed for several years at Blackwell Mercantile in Okanogan and J. C. Penny Co., in Omak. Mogensen, 90, of Brewster, died Sunday, September 19, 1993 in the Harmony House convalescent Center at Brewster. Mrs. Mogensen was born October 7, 1902 the daughter of Roy W. and Ethel (Hubbell) Caldwell at Piqua, Ohio. She moved to Cashmere, WA and was married to Harry W. Hamilton in 1922. Mrs. Mogensen moved to Omak with her family where she was employed for several years at Blackwell Mercantile in Okanogan and J. C. Penny Co., in Omak. In 1945 she enlisted in the US Army and served as a sergeant in Georgia and the Madagon General Hospital in Tacoma. Following her military service she returned to Spokane and was employed at Spokane Kenworth for several years Mrs. Mogensen returned to Omak in 1951 and worked for the Omak Medical Clinic and then moved to Brewster where she was employed at the Community Medical Clinic until her retirement. Mrs. Mogensen was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Brewster. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Jano) Webster of Brewster, three sisters, Eunice Murray of Omak, Mary Jane Sasse of Cheney and Ruth Widermuth of Brewster. Three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Services were conducted Wednesday, September 22, 1993 at 1 pm from the Sacred Hear Catholic Church, Brewster with Fr. Heliodoro Lucatero celebrant. Interment followed at Brewster Cemetery with Military Rites by Brewster American Legion Post #97. Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart building fund or a charity of your chioce. Arrangements by Barnes Chapel, Brewster.
