SACKRISON John Edward Sackrison, son of John and Johanna Sackrison, was born in this vicinity Feb. 5, 1868, and died here June 16, 1932, at the age of 64 years, 4 months, 13 days. He had spent his entire life on the Sackrison farm, two miles southwest of Stratford, in Hardin Township, Webster County, which is the home of his brother, Albert, who with his family, has tenderly cared for him for so many years. He was one of eight children and was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Emily, and three brothers, William, Gust and Otto. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Victor Gabrielson of Des Moines and Mrs. J.A. Carlson of Stratford and one brother, Albert Sackrison of Stratford, also five nieces and seven nephews. Funeral services were held at the Albert Sackrison home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. C.R. Yeager, pastor of the local Methodist church in charge. The hymns were sung by a quartet, composed of Mrs. L.E. Anderson, Mrs. George Peterson, George Harrison and the Rev. Yeager, with Mrs. Harrison at the piano. Interment was made in the Hardin Township Cemetery.
