Description	:	Joseph Leod Robbins was the son of William A.Robbins "Big Bill" and Permela T. Burton. Joseph's grandfather Henry Burton fought in the Revolutionary War. He fought in the battle of Camden. He then joined Colonel Lee's "Corps of Horse" and was in the battle of Gilford Court House, during which engagement he captured a Hessian and carried him to Colonel Campbell.
