She was born November 1, 1963 in Newton, Kansas, daughter of Ted and Lois Roth. Julie grew up in Whitewater, Kansas and graduated from Remington High School in 1982. She had 2 cats and a dog at the time of her death and... Read More	Julie Annette Roth, 52, was carried to her heavenly home on Saturday, April 2, 2016 in Valley Center, Kansas. She was born November 1, 1963 in Newton, Kansas, daughter of Ted and Lois Roth. Julie grew up in Whitewater, Kansas and graduated from Remington High School in 1982. She was involved in Thespians, StuCo, Dinner Theater, FHA, was year book editor her senior year and also crowned homecoming queen. She always had an extreme love for animals and for her family. She had 2 cats and a dog at the time of her death and would have had a lot more kitties had she been able to. She started her career at a young age in which she excelled! She made hundreds of very close friends in her customers throughout the years. Her son Kyle was born in 1986, followed by her twins, Kendall and Kenton in 1989 and adopted sweet baby Cody in 2000. Her boys meant everything to her. She was later blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren, which made her swell with pride. Julie began a relationship with Jonathan Bender 2-1/2 years before her death. She loved him and his family like her own. They were to be married in the near future. She seemed to be so very happy when they were together. Julie suffered over the years with migraines, stomach problems and severe depression. She tried to resolve these issues on her own, as she was a very independent lady and didn't want to burden anyone with her problems. She sought professional help but just couldn't bear the hurt and pain that she continuously felt inside. She always put on a smile and went about her business like she was fine, but she wasn't. On the evening of April 2nd, 2016 she could not bear it anymore. She took her own life knowing that she would be with her Lord and Savior and with her mother, who she had missed miserably since her death in 2012. No more pain, physically or mentally. Julie is now in the arms of Jesus, where she longed to be. Don't think for one minute that Julie is dead...she is more alive than she has ever been! Julie was preceded in death by her mother Lois and brother Mike, both in 2012. Survivors include: her fiance Jonathan Bender of Valley Center; sons, Kyle Strait (Kristi Wiegle), Kendall Strait (Jamie), Kenton Strait (Emily), all of Wichita, and Cody Ross of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Kahle, Norah, Jazz, Kynlee, Klay and Khloe; her father Ted Roth; sisters, Jeannie, Margie, Fritzie and Kristie; brothers John and Karl; many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be missed more than anyone can imagine. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Wichita Childrens' Home. Baker Funeral Home in Valley Center is handling arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9, at Grace Point Church, 9035 W. Central, Wichita.
