She had been in failing health for some time. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Wollmer & Warne Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul H. G. Moessner officiating. LeNora Stroh was born May 16, 1876 in Hooper, the daughter of Louis and Henrietta Stroh. She received her education in Hooper and in Fremont, where she attended Fremont Normal School. She taught at the Herman Monnich School, and then in the Hooper Public Schools for a number of years. She was married to Anton Tunberg of Hooper, who was in the implement business in Hooper with his father, and later a car dealer for many years. One son, Dean, was born to them. Mrs. Tunberg participated in civic affairs in Hooper, being active in the Woman's Club and the Hooper Extension Club. A little over a year ago, Mrs. Tunberg was hospitalized for a heart condition. She returned home but her condition was such that she needed continual nursing care. Since September she was in a nursing home in Fremont. Mrs. Tunberg is survived by her son, Dean, of Akron, Ohio, who was not able to attend the service because of illness; two granddaughters, one grandson; two brothers, Louis Stroh of Omaha and Alfred Stroh of Hooper; one sister, Mrs. Mamie Cushman of Blair; and a number of nephews, nieces, and her neighbors and friends. Mrs. Tunberg was preceded in death by her husband in July, 1942; her parents, one sister, Mrs. Amalia Uehling and one brother, Edward, of Hooper.
