Read More	Birth edits and year of marriage sent by Betty Ann Wells, 48559228 ********************* Glasco Sun, Feb. 18, 1910, page 3: Lessie Olivia Coleman was born January 16th, 1887, in Sheridan county, Missouri, and died February 6, being 23 yr. and 21 days of age. She moved with her parents to Cloud county, Kansas, when she was only a child, grew to womanhood here and won the respect of everyone who knew her, for to know her was to love her. Lessie was united in marriage to Walter Louthan, December 18th, 1904, at her parents' in Cloud county, Kans. Sister Louthan confessed her faith in Christ, was baptized under the labors of Eld. J.J. Ruppert in the year 1906, and lived an ideal christian life until the enemy, death, overpowered her. She fell asleep in Jesus to await the trump of God, which will bring the teeming millions from their dusty slumber, clothed with Immortality, Eternal Life, perfect health and beauty, where they will never more say "I am sick." Sister Louthan had strong faith in God, and believed the bible with all her heart, believer in the faith of the Adventist church. The funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church, by her pastor, assisted by the Methodist and Christian pastors, where we tried to speak words of comfort from the Master's words, "An Enemy Hath done this," to a large concourse of friends that had gathered to pay their tribute of respect to daughter, neighbor and friend. She leaves a loving and affectionate husband, father, mother, two sisters, one brother (and one brother preceded her in death) with many near friends, and a host of dear friends to mourn her untimely death. May our Heavenly Father give the bereaved ones strength sufficient for the emergency of the hour is the prayer of their many friends. Card of Thanks I wish to sincerely thank all my many friends and neighbors who did so much and so deeply expressed their sympathy during the illness and death of my loved wife. Walter Louthan
