Read More	KIMBROUGH, LILLIAN ANNA—Lillian Anna Kimbrough of near Geneva passed away at the Webster County hospital in Red Cloud, Neb., Wednesday evening, January 27, 1971, at the age of 81 years, 3 months and 12 days. Lillian Anna Schelkopf, eldest daughter of Martin and Elma Schelkopf, was born near Shickley, Neb., October 15, 1889. The Schelkopf’s were among the early settlers in that area. Lillian grew up there and attended rural school. January 12, 1910, she was united in marriage to Claude James Kimbrough of near Geneva. To this union were born five children, Francis, Kenneth, Donald of Geneva, Mrs. Robert (June) Sutter of Red Cloud, and Mrs. Johnie (Wilma) Girmus of Geneva. Mrs. Kimbrough spent most of her life in this community, except a few years in O’Neil. Because of failing health she had spent the past one and one-half years with her daughter June and family in Red Cloud. She was a member many years of the United Brethren church of Martland, transferring to the Methodist church of Geneva 18 years ago. She was a regular attendant until her health failed. She was also a member of the Geneva Eastern Star chapter and the Stanton Woman’s club. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude in 1967 and a son Kenneth. Survivors include the four children, 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Drake of Dallas, Tex., other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Farmer-Harris funeral home in Geneva at 2 p. m. Saturday, January 30. Rev. John Stayton officiated. Carolyn Bumgarner sang “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” and “In the Garden”. Mrs. Willard Foster was organist. Pallbearers were grandsons, Gary, Roger, Dennis and Clinton Kimbrough, Robert Sutter, Richard Girmus and Dale Girmus. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
