Rev. Harvey Schwab, assisted by Rev. Gary Shoemacker, will officiate. Mr. Packer, who died Saturday at Ashland, Kan., was born July 20, 1912, in Schuyler. He graduated from Hooper High School. He married the former Vera Fauss at Hooper. She survives. They moved to Kansas in 1946. Other survivors include one son, Robert, Corpus Christi, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. James (Jane) Wahlgreen [Wahlgren}, Boston, Mass.; and Miss Mary Sue [Packer], attending the University of Oklahoma; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Doris) Nelson, Hooper; Mrs. Leo (Mildred) Bunnell, Roseberg, Ore.; two brothers, Roy, Clifton, Kan.; and Jacob Dean, Fremont; and mother, Mrs. Jacob (Pearl) Packer, Oakdale. Visitation will start Tuesday from 1-9 p.m. at Wollmer and Warne Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until time of services at the church. Masonic services will be conducted at the graveside.
