The Atchison Daily Globe, Monday, March 9, 1936 Mrs. John Enzbrenner Of Eden Neighborhood Dies Mrs. Louise Enzbrenner, 66, wife of John Enzbrenner, well known farmer of the Eden neighborhood died at 9:30 o'clock Saturday night following a long illness. Mrs. Enzbrenner had been in failing health for several years but had been bedfast only two weeks. He death was attributed to complications resulting from a heart ailment. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at the St. Louis church at Good Intent. Father Raymond, pastor, will say a requiem high mass. Burial will be in St. Louis cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight at the Enzbrenner home. Stanton & Stanton are in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Cyril Schletzbaum, John Schletzbaum. Charles Vollmer, J. C. Fuhrman, Herman Gormley and William Wohletz. The death of Mrs. Enzbrenner marks the passing of a fine woman in the Eden neighborhood. Mrs. Enzbrenner was a charitable and helpful neighbor, doing many fine things for her family and home. Mrs. Enzbrenner was born January 5, 1870, in Austria and came to this country when she was 25 years of age. Her maiden name was Louisa Blaskha. Her marriage to John Enzbrenner occurred October 13, 1896. Besides her husband she is survived by four sons, Ben Enzbrenner of Eden, Edward Enzbrenner, John jr. and Ernest Enzbrenner, all of the home, and two daughters, Mrs. Carl Wagner of Mooney Creek and Miss Anna Enzbrenner of the home. She is also survived by four grandchildren. Mrs. Enzbrenner was a member of the Altar society of St. Louis church.
