Oettlnger, pastor of the Nineveh Methodist church near here, died last evening after a week's illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Gettinger and her husband have both been seriously ill for the past few days, and her condition was not thought to be as serious as was her husband's. Her death came as a shock to the many friends of the family, who had become well acquainted with her during the short time they had lived in Nineveh. Mrs. Gettlnger was the daughter of Thomas and Anna Fields, and was born in Kansas. September 7, 1910, she was married to the Rev. Mr. Oettlnger. Two children were born of this union, one having died in infancy. Surviving the deceased are one daughter, Miss Elsie, who is a student at Central college, Indianapolis; the husband; Mrs. Anna Fields, the mother, and several brothers and sisters who reside at Connersville. Funeral services will be held at the Christian church in Nineveh tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock, in charge of the Rev. E. E. Taylor, of Indianapolis, and the Rev. George Curtis, local pastor. The body, will then be taken to Connersvllle for burial. Mrs. Gettinger was well known all over Johnson county, where she had made fast friendships with church workers.
