Description	:	Mabeth J. Marsh Mabeth Jones Marsh, 72, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at home. She was born June 18, 1928, in Green Sea Floyds, a daughter of the late Leonard Jones and Fanny Bell Jones. She grew up in Horry County and graduated from Green Sea Floyds High School. She moved to Georgetown in 1945. She was employed as a telephone operator for a number of years with GTE and was co-owner of Marsh's Laundromat. Marsh Mabeth Jones Marsh, 72, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at home. She was born June 18, 1928, in Green Sea Floyds, a daughter of the late Leonard Jones and Fanny Bell Jones. She grew up in Horry County and graduated from Green Sea Floyds High School. She moved to Georgetown in 1945. She was employed as a telephone operator for a number of years with GTE and was co-owner of Marsh's Laundromat. She was an active member of First Assembly of God and a Sunday school teacher for 30 years. She was also a member of the Whites Bridge Garden Club. Survivors include three sons, Ted L. Marsh Jr. and his wife, Ina, J. Wade Marsh and his wife, Terry, all of Georgetown, and Dana Marsh and his wife, Renae, of Pawleys Island; a daughter, Mindy M. Harrelson and her husband, Randy, of Georgetown; 11 grandchildren, Jonathan Marsh, Bridgett Marsh Harrelson, Stephanie Marsh, Mandy Harrelson, Christopher Marsh and Derek Harrelson, all of Georgetown, Kimberly Marsh Chapman of Charlotte, N.C., Lee Harrelson of The Citadel in Charleston, Trevor Marsh of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., and Dale Marsh and Blake Marsh, both of Pawleys Island; and four great-grandchildren, James Harrelson III, Dylan Harrelson, Haley Chapman and Julia Marsh. She was predeceased by her husband, Ted L. Marsh; a brother; and a grandchild. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. today at First Assembly of God. The Rev. Dr. C. Bradley Morris and the Rev. Clifford Coursey will officiate. Burial will be in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Building Fund, P.O. Box 1627, Georgetown, SC 29442. Mayer Funeral Home of Georgetown is in charge.
