Although a headstone inscription photo has not yet been posted to this memorial, a photo of the headstone was published in a privately printed cemetery listing found at the Fairfield Public Library. The headstone inscription only uses her first name Margaret, and married surname Rotzinger. The middle initial/name is NOT engraved. rkt/March 7, 2016 ------------------- Fairfield Ledger Tuesday April 2, 1985 Rotzinger rites set Wednesday BRIGHTON - Services for Margaret C. Rotzinger, 90, who died early Monday at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in E. Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Robert Busher officiating. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Gould Funeral Home, Brighton. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Mrs. Rotzinger was born July 14, 1894 south of Brighton (sic. not entirely sure if meaning in Jefferson or Washington counties, could be interpreted either way depending on the exact birth location), the daughter of Christian and Christena Pohren Mineart (sic). She married Edgar Rotzinger on Nov. 26, 1914 at St. Joseph's Church. He died Feb. 22, 1980. Surviving are a son, Carl of Richland; twin daughters, Ruth Graffagna of Geneva, Ill., Rhua Moberly of Oxnard, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Shmidt (sic) of Milwaukee, Wis. A grandson, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Rotzinger and her husband farmed for seven years in Minnesota and then in the Brighton-Pleasant Plain area until moving to Brighton in 1942. She had been a patient at Parkview Care Center since November, 1983. Mrs. Rotzinger was a member of St. Joseph's Church and its Altar and Rosary Society, and the Willing Workers-Harmony Club of Brighton.
