Born in Gaffney, she was first married to the late Daniel Rufus White, Sr., was the widow of the late Floyd Eugene (Gene) Patrick, and was the daughter of the late James Grady Jones and Vivian Lee Jones. Mrs. Patrick retired from State Farm Insurance after 40 years of service and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Read More	Section B Gaffney, S.C. – Margaret Jones Patrick, 91, of 125 Robinhood Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 19, 2014 at her residence. Born in Gaffney, she was first married to the late Daniel Rufus White, Sr., was the widow of the late Floyd Eugene (Gene) Patrick, and was the daughter of the late James Grady Jones and Vivian Lee Jones. Mrs. Patrick retired from State Farm Insurance after 40 years of service and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Margaret was an accomplished pianist and organist, formerly playing at Kirby Memorial Baptist Church, and also sang in gospel quartets. Surviving are two sons, Terry L. White and wife, Phyllis, and Daniel R. White and wife, Gayle, all of Gaffney; a daughter, Linda Jolley and husband, Ron, of Norfolk, Virginia; two stepsons, Michael Eugene Patrick and wife, Carol, of Denver, Colorado and Barry Lynn Patrick and wife, Janice, of Lexington, S.C.; a sister, Anna Grace Smith of Gaffney; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Johnny King, a brother, Robert Lee Jones, and a stepson, Steven Lee Patrick. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tracy Ivester officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to: Temple Baptist Church, "Building Fund",1508 Cherokee Avenue, Gaffney, S.C. 29340. The family will be at the residence, 125 Robinhood Drive, Gaffney.
