She was born Margaret Morasch on January 3 1920 at Endicott, and was graduated form Endicott High School in 1938. She attended beauty school and on January 7, 1944 she was married to Albert Getz at Endicott. Following their marriage, the farmed in the Colfax area until 1952, when they moved to Brewster. They owned and operated a cattle ranch here until their retirement in 1974. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church at Brewster. Survivors include her husband, Albert, of the home; a son, Less, of Brewster; a daughter, Jane Paulson, of Beaverton, Oregon; five brothers, Adam Morasch, Clyde Morasch and Raymond Morasch, all of Endicott, Walter Morasch and Floyd Morasch, both of St. John; three sisters, Lucille Christopher of Walla Walla, Alice Stover, of Endicott, Ruth Bafus, of Colfax; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brothers. Services were conduced Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Barnes Chapel, Brewster, with Pastor Simon Maler officiating. Committal services and interment at the Brewster Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society. Services under direction of Barnes Chapel, Brewster.
