Hall LOCKHART BRILL (6 Oct 1823 - 29 Oct 1895) m. on Mar 26, 1846 to Robert Volney Lockhart (5 Mar 1809-23 Aug 1863 who died during the Civil War. He was shot at home where he was hiding in the ice house. After Robert V. Lockhart's death, Mary Ellen Victoria Hall m. Henry Brill on 29 Oct 1867 (1802-1884). Mr. Brill was only 5 years younger than her father, Col. James Bennett Hall. 2) Sarah Ann Hall CRABILL CLEM(29 Nov 1825 - 19 Jul 1892)1st Marriage to Jonathan Stribling Crabill following Jonathan's death her 2nd marriage was to Solomon Clem. 3) (Hannah) MARIA L. Hall LAMAR (3 May 1828 - ?) In the 1850 US Census when she was 22 years old, her last name was Lamar and she was living at home. Research continues as of April 22, 2019. So far I cannot find her in the Census records after this date, it is possible that she remarried or possibly died. 4) Malinda Caroline Hall LAKENAN (30 Mar 1830 - 10 Jul 1896) m. on 20 Feb 1851 to Abner Jesse Lakenan (19 Oct 1826-13 Jan 1892)of Paris, Fauquier County, VA. In the Virginia Genealogist Volume 37 1993 Early Hall Family Pioneers Page 174 her husband's last name is erroneously spelled LAKEMAN which should be LAKENAN Abner Jesse Lakenan was the son of Jesse Lakenan and Hannah Young and was born October 19, 1826 in Fauquier County, Paris, VA, and died January 13, 1892 in Frederick County, Virginia. He married Malinda Caroline Hall on February 20, 1851 in Frederick County, VA, daughter of James B. Hall and Margaret Rosenberger. Children of Abner Jesse Lakenan and Malinda CarolineHall are: 1)Hannah Estelle Lakenan, b. December 25, 1852, Frederick County, Virginia. 2) Abner J. Lakenan, b. His wife Catherine E. is listed in the 1900 Census with their son Caleb P. Hall in Buchanan, Page County, Iowa. 6) Margaret Jane Hall CLOWSER (10 Sep 1834-1911) m. Andrew Jackson Clowser both buried in the Hall Family Cemetery, Frederick County, VA. 7) Nancy Virginia Clay Hall WOTRING (7 Apr 1837 - 1910) m. Maj. Daniel E. Wotring son of Abraham D.
