Description	:	FRANK L. KING Frank L. King, son of George and Leona Gravatt King was born in Montgomery County on September 22, 1889 and died September 8, 1979 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska. On July 9, 1917, he was united in marriage to Marjorie Aldridge at Omaha, Nebraska. To this union two children were born; a son, Robert and a daughter, Joanne. Marjorie died June 23, 1952. Read More	FRANK L. KING Frank L. King, son of George and Leona Gravatt King was born in Montgomery County on September 22, 1889 and died September 8, 1979 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska. On July 9, 1917, he was united in marriage to Marjorie Aldridge at Omaha, Nebraska. To this union two children were born; a son, Robert and a daughter, Joanne. Marjorie died June 23, 1952. Frank was a lifetime resident of Montgomery County and a farmer until his retirement at which time he moved to Villisca. On October 10, 1959 he was married to Bertha Rishal, who passed away November 9, 1974. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Villisca and a World War 1 Veteran. His son Robert died June 21, 1966. Frank was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Joanne Wright, three grandchildren, Peggy Jackson; Tom and Dennis Wright; one great grandson, Matthew Jackson, all of Villisca; as well as several nieces and nephews. Services were held Tuesday, September 11, 1979 at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Villisca, Iowa with the Rev. Chris Herring officiating. Mrs. Quincy Dunn served as organist and Norman Weaver soloist. Musical selections were “Amazing Grace,” and “Lord’s Prayer.” Flower bearers were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Christie. Casket bearers were Quincy Dunn, Ernest Chaney, Duane Bergren, Howard Penwell, Donald Ackerman, and Willis Peterman. Graveside Military Rites were conducted by the Ker-A-Vor Post 251 of the American Legion, Villisca, Iowa with the Firing Squad of Dept. 1, Co. A. Bugler, Roger Cerven. Interment was in the Villisca, Iowa Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by the Wolfe Funeral Home in Villisca. Villisca Review, Thursday, September 20, 1979, page 2
