Va. and died in Delphos, Kansas, October 10, 1929, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Maude Bourne, at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 8 days. At the age of 12 years, she moved with her parents near Streaton, Ill., where she lived until the Fall of 1872, when she moved to Kansas, her father taking a homestead in what later was called the Bethel community. In February 1874, she was united in marriage to Thad S. Morris, four children being born to them: Frank, Johnnie, Maude and Guy. The husband died in February 1880 and Johnnie died in 1884. In February 1884 she was married to Boyd R. Moore, to whom one son, Claude, was born. In 1893, they moved from Bethel to the Bernard district, where they resided until they moved to Delphos is 1906. Though afflicted for many years, she was a patient, cheerful sufferer, always thinking of others. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, but was never able to attend services. She enjoyed the church services every Sunday over the radio. Mrs. Moore leaves to mourn her death, four children, eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild, two brothers, two sisters, and numerous other relatives. Funeral services were held at the Bethel Church Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Vielguth and burial was made in the Bethel Cemetery. In another column: Four Deaths in Week From last Thursday morning – Monday afternoon, death visited the Delphos community four times. As was reported in last week's paper, Mrs. Belle Moore died early Thursday at the home of her daughter Mrs. Maude Bourne after an illness of several weeks. She had not been in good health for a number of years, but she developed cancer of the stomach, which was the cause of her death. She was the wife of Boyd Moore, and they had lived a great many years northeast of Delphos on their farm and later bought the property where Irl Hogg now lives, where they lived until Mr. Moore's death about three years ago. Since then, Mrs. Moore had lived with her daughter. She leaves four children, Frank and Guy Morris, Mrs. Bourne and Claude Moore.
