Mrs. Marianne Rogers, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hynson, died at the Woman's Hospital, Baltimore, on Sunday night last, after an illness of several weeks, aged 60 years. Her funeral was held at the R. C. Church, Chestertown, conducted by Rev. Father Urner, on Wednesday morning at 11 a. m. Interment in the family lot at St. Paul's. Mrs. Rogers was a devoted and consistent member of the R. C. Church. She was possessed of a bright, lovable nature and had rare musical talent, which in spite of ill health, for many years she kept up and gave great pleasure to her many warm friends. She is survived by one son, R. Hynson Rogers, Esq., of this town; one daughter, Mrs. Guy Henry, wife of General Henry, of the U. S. A.; and one sister, Mrs. William M. Slay, of Chestertown. The bearers were: Messrs. Thomas Perkins, Josiah Massey, Raymond Zeizel, H. C. Brown, Paul Massey and Thomas G. Wroth. Undertatker C. L. Dodd.
