FRANK SHINN Marie Fritch, daughter of Frank and Josephine Fritch, was born June 6, 1872 in Czechoslovakia, and passed away at the Lincoln hospital, February 12, 1942, where she had been receiving treatment for 36 years, at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 6 days. On March 28, 1892 she was married to Frank Shinn at Pawnee City. To this union four children were born, Edwin, Bessie, Jennie and Arthur. FRANK SHINN Marie Fritch, daughter of Frank and Josephine Fritch, was born June 6, 1872 in Czechoslovakia, and passed away at the Lincoln hospital, February 12, 1942, where she had been receiving treatment for 36 years, at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 6 days. On March 28, 1892 she was married to Frank Shinn at Pawnee City. To this union four children were born, Edwin, Bessie, Jennie and Arthur. As a small child she came with her parents to America and settled in Pawnee county and since her marriage she lived on the farm three miles northwest of DuBois, where she lived happily and began the raising of her family until unfortunately stricken. She was a good mother and with the characteristics of her people she worked hard and did her best to make a successful home. On March 15, 1903, she joined the Z. C. B. J. Lodge and remained a member for more than 38 years. She is survived by a loyal and faithful husband, Frank, two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Jaros of Humboldt and Mrs. Jennie Triska of Pawnee City, one son, Arthur, who lives at home, three brothers, Sam Fritch of La Junta, Colo., Frank Fritch of Pawnee City and Joseph Fritch of DuBois; two sisters, Mrs. Adolph Dobrovolny of Humboldt and Mrs. Frank Kalous of Waterville, Kans., eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, twenty-three nieces and nephews, besides other relatives and a great number of friends. Edwin passed away when a small child. Funeral services were held Sunday with Rev. Webb, assisted by Frank Dobrovolny in charge. Burial was in the DuBois cemetery.
