Her funeral services were held Tuesday in the Congration Church, Crofton, with the Rev. Kathy Grow officiating. Burial was in the Crofton, City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Hinman, Gary Hinman, Shawn Hinman, Wyman McCain, Dale Alexander, and Mike Suhr. Mrs. Hinman the former Marie Kruse was born on September 6, 1889, to Fred and Konredena (Schleuter) Kruse at Crofton. She married Harry Hinman on July 14, 1915 at Ord, Nebraska. He died March 12, 1972. She had been a Crofton area resident since 1920 she attended business college at Yankton and was a music teacher before her marriage. She was a member of the Crofton Congregation Church Ladies Aid. Survivors are a son Kenneth of Crofton and a daughter Mrs. Blanche (Clarence) Jessop of Crofton, seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, son Lyle, three sisters and seven brothers.
