ADAMSON DIED AT CHESTER NEBRASKA Mrs. Mattie Adamson died at her home in Chester, Nebraska, last Saturday at the age of 66 years. The death of Mrs. Adamson followed an operation. The deceased was well known in Auburn and vicinity and the news of her death brought regret to many friends. The deceased, whose maiden name was Mattie Naysmith, was married in young womanhood to Faithful Adamson and was the mother of eight children, seven of whom are living. To these the sympathy of friends is extended in the hour of their bereavement. Mrs. Andy Knipe, John and James Naysmith and George and Tom Adamson left Tuesday for Chester to attend the funeral. ============================= The Belleville Telescope (Belleville, KS), Thursday, December 22, 1921; pg. 1 Mrs. Marian (sic) Adamson-Naysmith Mrs. Marion Adamson-Naysmith, who died this week at the Blue Valley hospital (sic) in Hebron, was one of the well known women of southern Nebraska. Married to Faithful Adamson on the homestead on which she was born, she was the mother of 9 children, seven of whom still survive. A resident of Nomaha (sic) county (sic), she moved with her family to Chester in the spring of 1884, they settled on a farm five miles southwest of Chester, but since the spring of 1916, Chester has been her home. Besides her children she leaves a husband, eight grandchildren, four brothers, Wm. and Hugh Naysmith, of Chester, James and John Naysmith of Auburn, Neb., and one sister, Violet Knipe, of Auburn.
