MARTHA DIAL -------------- Passed Away at Her Home in Weston Sunday Night WESTON, Jan. 21. -- [Special to THE NONPAREIL] -- Mrs. Martha Dial died Sunday night, Jan. 20, of malarial fever, aged 68 years. Mrs. Dial’s maiden name was Martha Guill. She was born in Groves county, Ky., Aug. 12, 1826 and with her parents moved to Nodaway county, Mo., in 1848, where she was married to W. H. Dial in 1851. They moved to Council Bluffs in 1853, residing there but a short time when they moved near Weston and have since resided in and near this place. Six children were born unto them, of whom John, Russel and Georgia Dial and Mrs. John Garner are still living, all residing in this county and Mrs. Margaret Bolin, who resides in Oregon. She was converted to the Presbyterian faith in early childhood and has ever since been a believer and worshipper of God and a devoted, tender, loving wife and mother.
