Description	:	Martin Matthew Ford Martin Matthew Ford was born December 8, 1873 at Clear Lake, Iowa, the son of Michael Ford and Julia Feeney. In the spring of 1882 he moved with his parents to Badger Township, Davison County, S. Dak., where his father took up a homestead. At the age of 21 he filed a homestead claim adjoining that of his parents, where he resided until he retired and moved to Letcher. He passed away there November 11, 1955. Read More	Martin Matthew Ford Martin Matthew Ford was born December 8, 1873 at Clear Lake, Iowa, the son of Michael Ford and Julia Feeney. On January 7, 1902, he was married to Myrtle E. Lindsey and to this union one daughter, Mae, was born. Myrtle Ford passed away on October 26, 1902. On January 8, 1908 he was married to Catherine Kane and to this union were born three sons and two daughters, Lyle, Martin, Raymond, Ellen and Catherine. Preceding him in death were his parents, 7 brothers and one sister. Surviving are his widow; three sons, Lyle F. of Plankinton, Martin L. of Rockford, Ill., Raymond of Letcher, three daughters, Mrs. Mae Link, Watertown, Mrs. Catherine Rudd and Ellen of Letcher, one brother, Edward of Inglewood, Calif., one nephew, Leonard Kane of Letcher, orphaned at the age of five, who made his home with them until he grew to manhood. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
