She was 52 years old and besides her husband Milton Gray, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. George Nowels and an unmarried daughter at home. In September, 1881, she, with her uncle, Asaph Butler, came to Minneapolis, Kansas, where she resided with her aunt, Rebecca Henry, until November 22, 1883, on which date she was married to James M. Gray, of Glasco, Kansas. To this union were born two children, Matie and Florence. In February, 1893, she, with her husband, united with the Presbyterian church, of Glasco, of which she remained a faithful member until the time of her death, October 11, 1906. She leaves a husband, two daughters, mother, one sister, one brother, and a granddaughter to mourn her loss.
