She passed away Wednesday evening, November 4, 2009 in the Springview Manor at Conway Springs, Kansas at the age of 86 years, 8 months, and 18 days. On August 14, 1943, Mary was united in marriage with Kenneth Allen Thiel in Anthony and this union was blessed with two sons, Everett and Max. The family made their home in Rago and Mary was a cook at several restaurants and later at the Kingman Hospital until she retired. She enjoyed gardening... Read More	Mary L. On August 14, 1943, Mary was united in marriage with Kenneth Allen Thiel in Anthony and this union was blessed with two sons, Everett and Max. The family made their home in Rago and Mary was a cook at several restaurants and later at the Kingman Hospital until she retired. She enjoyed gardening and spent all of her adult life raising vegetables. She also loved to fish and hunt and could even change the oil and grease her own car. Her husband, Kenneth passed away January 4, 1977. She had recently moved into the Springview Manor in Conway Springs. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her four brothers and five sisters. She will be missed by her sons, Everett Thiel and his wife, Susie and Max Thiel, all of Rago, Kansas; one grandson, Doug Thiel and his wife, Dede of Wentzville, Missouri and two great grandchildren: Danielle and Crystal; other relatives and friends.
