Description	:	Mildred Bentley McSwain, 86, formerly of 406 Bentley Town Road, Union, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Wallace Thomson Hospital. Ms. McSwain was born in Adamsburg, January 19, 1917, a daughter of the late William Bentley and Maggie Farr Bentley. She was a member of Philippi Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Club and was a member of the Union County Senior Citizens. She retired from Milliken & Co - Lockhart Plant. Read More	Mildred Bentley McSwain, 86, formerly of 406 Bentley Town Road, Union, died Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Wallace Thomson Hospital. Ms. McSwain was born in Adamsburg, January 19, 1917, a daughter of the late William Bentley and Maggie Farr Bentley. She was a member of Philippi Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Club and was a member of the Union County Senior Citizens. She retired from Milliken & Co - Lockhart Plant. Survivors are: a daughter, Joyce Crocker and husband Jim of Lockhart; a son, Bill McSwain; three sisters, Kathleen Hutchings, Janie Bentley and Betty Webber; two brothers, W.F. Bentley and the Rev. Jesse Bentley, all of Union; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2007, at Philippi Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Brad Goodale and the Rev. Tim Huckaby. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Mike Webber, Stanley Webber, Terry Bentley, Butch Carter, Wayne Hutcherson, Larry Crocker, Jackie Parks, Brian McSwain and Bobby Hyatt. The employees and staff of Ellen Sagar Nursing Home are asked to sit in a group. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Thursday night at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Philippi Baptist Church Building Fund, 327 Philippi Church Road, Union, S.C. 29379. The family is at the home of her daughter, Joyce and Jim Crocker, 203 South 6th St., Lockhart, S.C. S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home
