Description	:	MRS. FRANK WEBB Mildred Faye Ord Webb was born December 15, 1890, and departed this life on March 19, 1957. She was the oldest child of George and Anna Ord. Her entire life was spent in this community with the exception of a few years spent in Missouri as a child. The past four years she has made her home with her daughter in Steele City. She received her education in the Pawnee City schools. She was united in marriage to Francis Marion Webb on Dec. 18, 1907. To this union were born five children, two died in infancy. Mr. Webb passed away Nov.... Read More	MRS. FRANK WEBB Mildred Faye Ord Webb was born December 15, 1890, and departed this life on March 19, 1957. She was the oldest child of George and Anna Ord. Her entire life was spent in this community with the exception of a few years spent in Missouri as a child. The past four years she has made her home with her daughter in Steele City. She received her education in the Pawnee City schools. She was united in marriage to Francis Marion Webb on Dec. 18, 1907. To this union were born five children, two died in infancy. Mr. Webb passed away Nov. 9, 1952. She was a member of the Baptist church of this city since 14 years of age. She was a good wife and mother, and was never happier than when she was surrounded by her family. Her children and her home were always first in her thoughts and also, later, her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She was never too tired or weary to amuse them in any way for she loved little children. She has been a shut-in for the past 14 years, but in spite of her handicaps, had developed a number of hobbies. One of them was her love of poetry. She is survived by her three children, Howard Francis Webb of Miami, Fla.; Dorris Vivian Halik of Steele City; Richard Stanley Webb of Miami, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Cox of Pawnee City and Miss Mabel Ord of DuBois; two brothers, Harold Ord of Imperial Beach, Calif., and John Ord of Cherryvale, Kans.; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
