Description	:	Mary Louise Weiser, daughter of Joseph and Thresia Weiser, was born in the city of Newstodt Austria, on Jan. 26, 1876 and answered the summons of the Angel of Death at St. Joseph Memorial hospital on Tuesday, May 13, 1958, at 12:05 p.m., at the age of 82 years, three months and 18 days. At the age of four years she came to this country with her father and mother, brothers and sisters and settled in Otis, where she grew to womanhood. Read More	Mary Louise Weiser, daughter of Joseph and Thresia Weiser, was born in the city of Newstodt Austria, on Jan. 26, 1876 and answered the summons of the Angel of Death at St. Joseph Memorial hospital on Tuesday, May 13, 1958, at 12:05 p.m., at the age of 82 years, three months and 18 days. At the age of four years she came to this country with her father and mother, brothers and sisters and settled in Otis, where she grew to womanhood. On Oct. 26, 1897 she was united in the Holy Bonds of Matrimony at St. Ann's Church, Olmitz, to Joseph Frank Habermann. To this union were born seven boys and four girls. Most of her early life was spent on a farm in the Olmitz and Rozel communities, in 1945 she moved to her home in the city of Larned at which she resided at the time of her death. She was of Catholic faith and a member of the Alter Society, baptized while still in infancy. She has lived the life of a true and devoted servant in the vineyard of the Lord all her life, while her health permitted she was a regular and punctual in her mass attendance even when she lived on the farm and lived a long distance from the house of worship. She seldom missed a service. The last three years when she was unable to leave her home she spent much of her time in meditation and silent prayer. Truly it was an inspiration to see her confidence in faith, in the happiness in the world to come and her assurance that the labors and trial of this world were not in vain (we might use the words of the Good Book and say Lord my task is done). She was of cheery and friendly disposition, never complained and always looked on the bright side of life, she cherished her friends highly and it was indeed an honor to be classed as a friend. She was a kind and loving wife and mother. Her husband preceded her in death in 1938. She leaves to mourn her death, seven sons and four daughters, Frank, Olmitz; Mary Kevan, Longmont, Colo.; Joseph, LaCrosse; Anton, Bison; Emelia Gumbir, Helen Boyd, Frances Gasser, Jule, Leo, Emil and Henry, all of Larned. Two brothers, Gus Weiser, Dighton, and Julius Weiser, Rogers, Ark.; one sister, Julia Weiser, Great Bend; 23 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
