From Wednesday's Daily -- Mrs. Nancy Jones, 85, died this morning at the family home in this city where for many months she has been gravely ill and from which she had gradually been failing until death brought her rest. Mrs. Jones was one of the old time residents of this part of Cass county, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Walker having come to this section in the early fifties and she has spent her lifetime in the east portion of Cass county. Growing to womanhood she was married here to J. (sic) M. Patton, who has preceded her in death several years ago. In later years she was married to J. Riley Jones, who is surviving her passing. In addition to Mr. Jones there survives three children, Mrs. Inez Thompson of Chicago, Levi Patton of Glenwood and L. L. Patton, of Omaha, as well as several step children. The funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Sattler funeral home at Fourth and Vine streets and the interment be made at the Oak Hill cemetery.
