Description	:	Obit taken from the book Sumner Cemetery published by the Atchison County Genealogical Society: Mrs. Nellie Bluma, 81, 506 North Eighth Street, died early this morning at her home. She had been in failing health since suffering a fractured pelvis in 1968. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Stanton Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Bennett and the Rev. George White officiating. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery. Members of the family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight and Friday night at the Stanton Mortuary. Mrs. Bluma was born Sept. 19, 1890, near Bean Lake, a daughter of James Donald and Dora Downey Hundley, and attended Weinmann School south of Atchison. She and Charles Gilliland were married April 13, 1910 and he died April 15, 1931. She and Joseph Bluma were married Nov. 11, 1933, and he died Jan. 11, 1955. Mrs. Bluma was a lifelong resident of the Atchison area and had made her home in Atchison since 1956. She spent much of her life south of Atchison. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Everett (Lenora) Vaughan, Routhe 3, Mrs. Frank (Dora) Davis, De Kalb, Mrs. Merlin (Opal) Ottesen, Everest, and Mrs. Sam (Ellen) Freeman, Topeka; a sister, Mrs. Robert Handke, Atchison; two brothers, Ben and Housen Hundley, both of Atchison; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers: Ben Highfill, Ira Lister, Emmett Lister, Howard Ehret, Henry Pohl and Howard Funk.
