Description	:	Son of William H. & Sarah A. (Brill) Pease Nelson Pease, was born near Prairie du Chien, Wis., on December 5, 1873, and passed away at St. Mary's hospital in Pierre on July 23, 1955 at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 18 days. Although he had been in poor health for the past several years, death came as a result of pneumonia. (Brill) Pease Nelson Pease, was born near Prairie du Chien, Wis., on December 5, 1873, and passed away at St. Mary's hospital in Pierre on July 23, 1955 at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 18 days. Although he had been in poor health for the past several years, death came as a result of pneumonia. He spent his boyhood in Wisconsin and Nebraska; at one time driving a stage coach from Niobrara, Neb., to Running Water, S.D. Later he worked on the railroad when it was being built west of Chamberlain. He homestead north of Kennebec, and spent the remainder of his life in that community. He had served on both the school and township boards in Dorman township. His death will be keenly felt in his home neighborhood where he will long be remembered fro his kindness and generousity. He leaves to mourn his passing, three brothers, Fred and Will of Niobrara, Neb., and George of texas; and many nieces and nephews, besides a host of friends and neighbors in the community north of Kennebec. Rev. R. B. Bonney officiated at the funeral services on Tuesday afternoon in the Methodist Church. Schwartz-Williamson funeral home had charge of arrangements and burail was made at Niobrara, Neb. The pallbearers were Art Faber, Bernard Johnson, Emanuel Mortenson, John Quillin, Hebert Kiehn and Clarence Hermanson.
