Read More	OBITUARY OF NOBLE HESTWOOD WHEELER Noble H Wheeler was born October 19, 1879 near Carnforth IA and died at his home near Brooklyn IA March 10, 1918 aged 41 years 4 months and 21 days. All his life was spent in and around Carnforth and his neighbors knew him as an industrious and earnest worker - a man who did with all his might what his hands found to do. He became sick two weeks ago and although seriously ill the end came suddenly and unexpectedly. His mother Mrs Jane Wheeler whose husband died in 1896 was present at the funeral also nine of her children. Our brother was one of a family of thirteen children whose circle was only broken once when his sister Dollie died in 1907. He was brought up in the faith of the old Sunset church. He married Millie Bennett of Indiana July 13 1897. His wife and eight children mourn today a good father and husband. Dewey, Tressie, Traverse, Herbert, Lester, Glenn, Earl and the baby Claude, age 6 months. His eldest son Dewey enlisted for war service and is now in the US Navy. His name appers on the Carnforth church Roll of Honor. Mr Wheeler was a member of Brooklyn Lodge K of P and of the Yoemen Order. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon by Rev Wm W Maxwell Victor and Carnforth IA and interment was in IOOF cemetery Brooklyn IA where the last burial rites of Knights of Pythias were administered. The family wish to express their thanks for the many tokens of sympathy and kindness from neighbors and friends that have come to them in their sore trial.
