Read More	ESTEEMED AKRON WOMAN SUCCUMBS TO HEART ATTACK Rites Are Held Last Saturday Afternoon For Mrs. Nora Fletcher Nora June Fletcher passed, away at her home in this city early Wednesday morning, October 5, 1956, at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 5 days. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Nall, she was born on a farm near Durham, Missouri, October 20, 1878. On September 18, 1898, she was married to Lawrence Fletcher also of Durham. To this union eleven children were born. Mrs. Curtis (Lora) Johnson; of Dell Rapids, S.D.; Edgar and Roland, of Des Plaines, Illinois; Quigley; of Palatine, Illinois; Raymond; of Elk Point, S.D., and Floyd, Darcy and Elmo; of Akron. She was preceded in death by her husband and three daughters, Muriel. Maude and Mrs. Curt (Lorene) Moehling. Besides her children, she also leaves to mourn her passing one brother, Bill Nall, of Akron, and two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Scott, of Akron, and Mrs. Earl Elliott, of Indianapolis, Indiana; also 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In 1901, Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher with their family, moved to Iowa; where they lived several years, and then moved to a farm west, of Akron, there they resided until they retired and moved to Akron in the fall of 1944. Mrs. Fletcher united with the Baptist church while living in Durham, Missouri, and since living here has been a member of the Akron Baptist church. A devoted Wife and mother, a kind and helpful neighbor, she will be missed and mourned in her wide circle of friends. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist church, conducted by Rev. Wayne R. Williams and Dan J. Peterson. Mrs. Hugh Swift sang and Mrs. V.G. Adams was organist. Pallbearers were six nephews of the deceased, Percy and Charles Smizer, Clarence Bennett, Lowell Nall, Willie Huebner and Harold Scott. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.
